Exchange Program
This is a specialized program designed for international students, volunteers, and health professionals to travel to Ghana and gain experience in health and educational sectors, i.e. hospitals, clinics, schools and villages. Get hands-on experience in medical standards and practices in Ghana, in ways that are difference in your country. You will have real working experience in the hospitals, clinics, doctors office, operating room, you name it. This experience will boost your CV or Resume, and guaranteed you to stand head-and-shoulders above nearly all other colleagues in many areas. In terms of personal development, you will improve upon your communication stills, build confidence, and gain new perspectives. While in Ghana, you will live in a private, secured and catered accommodation. You also have an option to be hosted by a host family. We will provide 24/7 support to ensure that you have a life time internship experience while in Ghana. Public Health Education
No one wants to fall sick. It is very depressing and uncomfortable especially if you have people depending on you. The great news is one can avoid getting sick if they know about the disease and receive support and counselling. GBIO believes you can make a very great positive impact in areas such as drug abuse, Lower Respiratory Infections (LRI’s), stroke, Malaria, Ischemic Heart Disease, HIV/AIDS amongst others.
Tourism
GBIO has made proper arrangement for Student and Practitioners to get the opportunity to visit most of the very beautiful and historic centers within western and central regions and other regions within Ghana during their stay. Here are some tour places. Practitioners and Student will also have the opportunity to visit some of our chief’s palaces within the country to learn our beautiful culture.
