Dr. Simon Frimpong Osei was appointed Medical Superintendent and Lead Clinician at the Kwesimintsim Government Hospital in March, 2019 till now. Dr. Simon Frimpong Osei is an astute Medical Doctor with over 16 years of professional experience. He began his career as a House Officer at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi in 2004, Medical Officer at Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi in 2005, Medical superintendent and Lead clinician, Dixcove Government Hospital in 2007, and Resident in Family Medicine, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in 2015. He holds an International Executive MBA in Healthcare Management from the Paris Graduate School of Medicine, a Certificate in Health Administration Management from GIMPA and MB, ChB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. Dr. Simon Osei Frimpong has passion for teaching and mentoring younger colleagues in the profession and those aspiring to be great clinicians. He has had a number of elective medical students from countries such as the UK, Australia, Netherlands and others learnt under him in a district hospital setting in Ghana.
